Flagstone consists of irregularly shaped stone that comes in several thicknesses. Typically, flagstone with thicknesses of <1"-3" are used for flat/horizontal applications, and is sometimes referred to as Natural Patio. Flagstone with thicknesses of 3"-5", sometimes referred to as "Builders" stone can be used for either cladding/veneer or landscaping applications.
